Adding accents to click tracks and how to creat. ![]() ![]() I guess that's not too helpful for you, though, since you're looking for VST/AU. In this tutorial we will be going over how to set up a click track and how to change the metronome settings. I never really "got" using sticks or cowbells for clicks- they are annoying to listen to and prone to headphone leakage/crosstalk, etc, but some people insist on them. In the dialog box that appears, set the click value to 8ths or 16ths or whatever. 2) Open the Metronome Count-in and Settings by clicking on the 3 dots. Hint: you can set PT's click to play note subdivisions by dropping a new meter marker. 1) Click the Metronome icon next to the Track Number/Title. It's a basic plug but I don't think it's that bad as long as it's set to that. I also don't mind PT's basic "Click" plug when set to MPC click. (Normally, it would count the beats and show the bpm in the plugin window both are blank.) This is a track with a lot of tempo changes so its really important to hear the click. ![]() One company even makes a " Click Kicker" that converts any click sound to a Urei click. The Click II plugin is instantiated, and not deactivated or anything, but it doesnt show any activity when the transport is running. Urei click with no accent is generally what is always used on scoring sessions. I like the Urei click sounds a lot, since it's what I'm used to. ![]() If you want to retain use of these key commands in Pro Tools, these OS. The TL Metro is now included as RTAS in ProTools 8 LE/M-powered. Some Pro Tools recording shortcuts use the same key commands as some Mac OS X shortcuts.
